FAQ — Nurse Life Coaching Questions Answered | Well HER

Question 1

What is life coaching, and how is it different from therapy?

Accepted Answer

Life coaching is a forward-focused partnership that helps you clarify what you want, identify what's holding you back, and take meaningful action toward the life you're building. Therapy often explores the past and addresses mental health diagnoses — coaching is present and future-focused, designed for women who are ready to move forward. I'm not a therapist, and coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment.

Question 2

Who is coaching for?

Accepted Answer

Coaching is for every woman — wherever you are in life. Whether you're navigating fertility challenges, the complexities of parenthood, work-life balance, a career transition, burnout, relationship changes, or simply a quiet feeling that there's more for you — coaching gives you the clarity, tools, and support to move forward with intention. If you're a woman ready to invest in yourself, you belong here.

Question 3

How does your nursing background shape your coaching?

Accepted Answer

My years as a nurse gave me a deep understanding of what it looks like to pour yourself out for others until there's nothing left. I've lived the burnout cycle firsthand. But nursing also gave me something else — a firsthand look at just how little support women receive. I spent years holding the stories of so many women: women who kept everything to themselves, women with no one to tell, women going through divorce, single women, women navigating their identity and relationships in a world that didn't always make space for them. I saw the loneliness, the silence, and the strength it took just to keep going. That experience gives me a unique lens — I understand the pressure, the identity tied to caregiving, and the courage it takes to finally choose yourself. My coaching is grounded in that real-world empathy.

Question 4

Are you a certified coach?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I am a certified life coach. My nursing background combined with my coaching certification means I bring both professional credibility and genuine lived experience to every session.

Question 5

What does a discovery call look like?

Accepted Answer

A discovery call is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation — usually about 60 minutes — where we get to know each other. You'll share what's going on in your life, what you're hoping to change, and I'll walk you through how coaching works. By the end, we'll both have a clear sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.

Question 6

How often do we meet, and how long are sessions?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are 60 minutes each and are held via Zoom for your safety and privacy. We meet once a week for three weeks in a row, then take one week off for integration — giving you time to process and apply what we've worked on. We repeat that rhythm for two months. It's a structure designed to create real, lasting change without burning you out in the process.

Question 7

Do sessions happen in person or virtually?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are held virtually via video call, which means we can work together no matter where you are. All you need is a quiet space and a reliable internet connection.

Question 8

How do I know my information is confidential?

Accepted Answer

Your privacy matters deeply. Well HER uses a HIPAA-compliant Zoom platform for all sessions, so your conversations are protected from the start. Once you've decided to move forward with a coaching package, you'll also sign a contract that formally ensures your confidentiality. You can show up fully and speak freely — what you share stays between us.

Question 9

What if I'm not sure coaching is right for me?

Accepted Answer

That's exactly what the discovery call is for. There's no commitment required — just an honest conversation. If coaching isn't the right fit right now, I'll tell you that too. My goal is for you to leave every interaction feeling clearer, not pressured.

Question 10

How much does coaching cost?

Accepted Answer

Pricing is discussed during your discovery call, where we can talk through what package makes the most sense for your goals and timeline. I believe in transparency — there are no surprises.

Question 11

Is coaching covered by insurance?

Accepted Answer

Life coaching is not covered by health insurance. It is a personal investment in your growth, clarity, and wellbeing.

Question 12

What if I need to reschedule a session?

Accepted Answer

Life happens — I get it. I ask for at least 24 hours notice to reschedule so we can find a new time that works for both of us. We'll go over the full scheduling policy when we begin working together.
